Did you read Cap 22? Cap quotes Ben Franklin to justify his position against registration. Ooops! There's only one thing wrong: He completely butchers the quote!
Cap: "I don't trust politicians...and not when they're willing to trade freedom for security"
Agent 13: "Now you're quoting Ben Franklin...Give me a break."
The actual quote is "Those who would give up essential Liberty to purchase a temporary safety deserve neither."
The key word there is "essential." Poor Cap just unknowingly bolstered Iron Man's position. But why make Tony sound intelligent when we can just portray him as a raving madman and a war profiteer (See the new Spidey)? I especially liked the reference to Halliburton... Sigh.
