Production on Metal Men Begins
From Fantom gossip reporter Ari Saperstein:
Almost exactly a year ago, (April 9th, 2006 – also my birthday!), Lauren Shuler Donner, producer of the X-Men trilogy and Constantine, expressed interest in adapting Metal Men into a movie. Now, production has finally begun with Eric Champnella, writer of Mr. 3000, (Hey, if Tim Story can get away with doing the Fantastic Four and Barbershop, so can Champnella) starting on a screenplay. Donner says that it will be “a light film with a lot of CGI", much like the Fantastic Four.
