Local comic book writer Jeff Howe's epic super-hero series: Polis. Synopsis below:
After a cataclysmic superhero meltdown, the major metropolitan city of Polis is written off by the government as a no man’s land. Sold to the Polis Corporation, the city is rebuilt into a safe, livable city once again. The number one rule in Polis: no more super-humans. No more heroes. This proves something of a problem for Detective James Pyrrhus, a man with the latent power to heal and raise the dead. One of the few honest cops in Polis, his invulnerability lets him take on criminals others are afraid of or unwilling to touch. He can do anything he wants…as long he doesn’t get caught.
