Why should I get my comics from Fantom?
Fantom Comics has been in business since 2005, with our store located in the heart of the DC metro area. That’s years of experience satisfying demanding customers. We offer our mail-order customers free shipping and every comic is bagged and boarded. We also allow significant flexibility in your ordering, and no minimums!
Do I have to pay shipping?
No! Free shipping!
How will my books be packaged?
Each comic book will be bagged and boarded. Each graphic novel, magazine or over-sized comic book will be carefully packaged to ensure a safe trip.
When will I receive my books?
We ship once a month, on the first Thursday of each month.
Is there a minimum order requirement for this service?
Short answer: no. However, as we offer free shipping, we will only ship your books once you have accumulated at least 15 issues (each graphic novel counts as 5 comic books). If, on the first Thursday of the month, you have 14 titles or less, we will charge your card for the books but leave them in your box until next month’s shipment.
What can I order?
Anything from the monthly Previews Catalog on the Comixology website, provided you order before the deadline (see below for details regarding deadlines).
How do I sign up with Fantom Comics and start placing orders?
All of our subscribers are managed through the comixology.com website. Go to our Comixology Instructions page to learn the easy steps.
Fantom Comics accepts: Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover. We process all of our payments through a leading payment gateway company called Authorize.net. Here's what will happen: when you sign up, a Fantom Comics representative will get in touch with you at the phone number provided on comixology.com. They will ask for your credit card information and permission to charge you $1. This allows us to store your information directly into Authorize.net. Fantom Comics will never have your card info in writing. It will all be located on authorize.net's secure site. Then we'll simply charge that credit card each month on the shipping date of the first Thursday of the month. Note: We will discount your first order by $1.

What if I want to cancel a title?
Cancellations may be made up to the day before the first Thursday of the month. However, Fantom Comics reserves the right to limit or terminate the accounts of customers who too frequently alter their orders after the guaranteed book deadline.
What’s the deal with tie-ins, mini-series, annuals, one-shots and subsequent series?
In the past Fantom has strived to predict books our customers would want and supply them just in case. With comixology.com allowing you to take control of your orders, we now takes your requests very literally! If you subscribe to Klokel Komix, but not to the 4-part miniseries Klokel Komix does Disneyland, we will not make the connection unless you yourself subscribe to the miniseries through Comixology. Comixology is trying to make this as easy as possible. Currently, you can request all annuals and mini-series (when they exist) for ongoing titles. Hopefully they will also have a Crossover option as well for big events (like Civil War or Blackest Night). Until then, the responsibility to sign up falls on you. Fantom will do its best, however, to send out lists of upcoming Tie-Ins and Crossovers to its email list.
